Joey Kher, a self-made working artist from corporate world. The artist is also currently active in promoting Development of Art & Culture sector. Born in Batu Pahat (West Malaysia) but grew up in Lahad Datu (East Malaysia), a peaceful village, Joey used whatever she had to produce art, include a broken pencil. After Joey left her fashion career in early 2015, she spent 8 months working from kitchen to produce art merchandise and sell to market, later, she designed art educational products to promote art in some schools. In Oct 2015, Joey transformed an old ballet school to “VIANA ACADEMY OF ART” and launched the first SOLO . Till now, Joey had already organized about 30 art activities that include introducing Non Profit Organization “Urban Sketchers” to her hometown Batu Pahat. Her recent program includes “Affordable Art Education” for under privilege students. Joey’s advocacy: “Find beauty in everything because everything has its beauty.”
